The pigs are back!

The steel garden pigs are back in all their glorious, gaudy, outrageous colors.  Love those little piggy snouts and pointy little piggy feet.  This year they have some mushrooms to keep them shaded.

What's New for Spring

We're getting ready for a new season and look forward to seeing everyone in the shop this summer.

Coming up - The Sale starts June 11 and goes for 2 weeks.  Everything in the store and gardens is 15% off!

Events coming up include Art on the Lawn on June 11th, the Garden Party on the following Saturday - June 18th, and a yet-to-be-named wine/tasty tidbits/shopping event on Thursday evening 4-6 PM on June 23rd.

Yesterday I put The Gables on Facebook!  Should be easy to find if you type in "The Gables" and you don't need to join Facebook to see the page.  I'll get up to speed yet.  My husband just ordered a new laptop for us and it should make posting a lot easier so I can keep current information out there. 

Other thoughts - I get kind of tired of only talking about The Gables all the time so I'm thinking of including more information about other local events and businesses.  I'm open to suggestions, so keep in touch.

New Year - Fresh Start

The Gables will be open in winter on Friday and Saturday from 11:00 - 3:00.   You can count on a warm welcome!

January always seems like the perfect time to make a fresh start on projects and readjust goals.  Maybe it's the cold, white landscape around here.  There's something very hopeful about a fresh new year.

I'll be sharing plans for the new season, so check in once in awhile.  I have some boxes of new spring florals and greenery waiting to be unpacked (you can hardly get through the front hall right now).  I'll post some pictures as soon as I can.

I also want to invite anyone who'd like to stop in during the winter to do so - I'm also happy to open the door if it's a day I'm not officially open.  I'm often at the Gables anyway.  Doing all that fun behind-the-scenes stuff.  Call me at 920-787-7475.
